The franchise that changed baseball games

On the Genesis, World Series Baseball (by BlueSky Software) was the first baseball game to hold both the MLB and MLBPA licenses - real teams, players and stadiums - and it pioneered the close-up catcher’s-eye batting view that basically every baseball game uses now. This Game Gear cut is a separate, ITL-developed handheld build of that franchise, with selectable field perspectives, and GamePro still called it “one of the premiere sports games on the Game Gear,” with a ton of options usually reserved for 16-bit systems.
