World Series Baseball (Game Gear) - Authentic Sega Sports Cartridge, Tested & Cleaned

Pocket baseball from a landmark series

Authentic World Series Baseball (Sega Sports) for the Game Gear - the handheld entry in one of the most important baseball franchises of the 16-bit era. Every copy gets powered on, verified to boot and play, and has its contacts cleaned before it ships.

The franchise that changed baseball games

On the Genesis, World Series Baseball (by BlueSky Software) was the first baseball game to hold both the MLB and MLBPA licenses - real teams, players and stadiums - and it pioneered the close-up catcher’s-eye batting view that basically every baseball game uses now. This Game Gear cut is a separate, ITL-developed handheld build of that franchise, with selectable field perspectives, and GamePro still called it “one of the premiere sports games on the Game Gear,” with a ton of options usually reserved for 16-bit systems. Want the 16-bit original? I’ve also got World Series Baseball ‘95 on the Genesis.

Region-free, and bundle-ready

Game Gear carts are region-free, so it plays on any Game Gear worldwide. Sold by condition grade: every grade plays the same, and the grade only describes looks - here’s how I grade condition. A great add-on for a restored Game Gear bundle.
