World Series Baseball '95 (Genesis) - Authentic Sega Sports Cartridge, Tested & Cleaned

The batting view that changed baseball games

Authentic World Series Baseball ‘95 (Sega Sports) for the Genesis. Every copy gets powered on, verified to boot and play, and has its contacts cleaned before it ships.

It reinvented the baseball-game camera

The World Series Baseball series is a big deal for one reason above all: it pioneered the behind-the-pitcher, catcher’s-eye batting view - the zoomed-in perspective that’s now the default in essentially every modern baseball game (yes, including MLB The Show). ‘95 is the critically acclaimed peak of the run: EGM literally said “the best baseball game of all time has been made better” (9/10). It carries the full MLB and MLBPA license - real teams, players, and stadiums - and it was built by BlueSky Software, the same studio behind Sega’s best football games. There’s a pocket version, too - I’ve also got World Series Baseball on the Game Gear listed.

Pick your grade, bundle-ready

Sold by condition grade: every grade is tested, cleaned and plays exactly the same, and the grade only describes how it looks. Here’s how I grade condition. A solid add-on for a restored Genesis bundle; stack a few games onto a console and the savings add up.
