Dynamite Headdy (Game Gear) - Authentic Sega Cartridge, Tested & Cleaned
The 8-bit cut of Treasure's cult-classic mascot platformer. Region-free, tested and cleaned, acceptable or better.
The pocket cut of a Treasure cult classic
Authentic Sega Dynamite Headdy for the Game Gear - the handheld version of the wonderfully weird mascot platformer whose 16-bit original came from Treasure, the legendary studio behind Gunstar Heroes and Radiant Silvergun. Every copy gets powered on, verified to boot and play, and has its contacts cleaned before it ships.
Not a straight shrink-down
Honest detail worth knowing: the Game Gear cart itself was ported by Minato Giken, not Treasure, and it’s a substantial reworking of the console game rather than a pixel-for-pixel port - Sega Magazine still called it “a fun 8-bit port” and one of the best portable action games. Collector footnote: the near-identical Master System version was released only in Brazil, which makes the whole 8-bit branch a bit of an oddity. If you love Treasure’s oddball creativity, this is that DNA in your pocket.
Region-free, and bundle-ready
Game Gear carts are region-free, so it plays on any Game Gear worldwide. Listed acceptable or better - the photo is representative of the condition bucket, and your copy is cleaned and tested to match. A great add-on for a restored Game Gear bundle.
