The arcade game you couldn’t play alone
Fun trivia: the GP Rider arcade machine was twin-cabinet only - it shipped as a two-player-facing unit with no solo cabinet, so head-to-head racing was the entire point. The Game Gear keeps that spirit with split-screen two-player over the Link Cable. Under the badge, the handheld port leans heavily on Sega’s Super Hang-On engine and assets, so it plays like a close cousin of that arcade-racing family.
